Ebru Kapusiz has more than 15 years of finance industry experience in Asset Management, Fixed Income Securities Trading and Private Banking. Having worked as a front line client relationship manager for leading global wealth managers across the globe, Ebru decided to pursue her passion in developing conceptual models for the client interaction process, and share her experience and knowledge under her own consulting company.
The recent Global Financial Crisis brought into attention areas of deficiency and the need for improving the client advisory process in the wealth management industry. Taking into account her own experiences during these tough times, Ebru wrote her Master's dissertation in 2010 on the problems faced by the talent pool in the Singapore wealth management industry, with a focus on the need to establish a better ‘client risk management’ approach, and the importance of 'soft skills' as an integral part of the client interaction process.
After the completion of her studies, Ebru embarked on a personal journey of self-awareness to find her area of passion, which she wanted to incorporate into her next career move. Having a talent for wealth management client servicing in the finance industry, but hesitant to return to a system in need of change, Ebru considered how she might make a difference. She founded Anka Consulting Pte Ltd, a niche company specialising in the delivery of financial services training, coaching and strategy development in the wealth management arena.
Ebru's training at world-renowned Coach U Institution, accredited by the International Coach Federation (ICF) enables her to incorporate coaching concepts and competencies into her training offering, which perfectly relate to behavioural aspects of the advisory process.
Ebru also has a personal interest in areas pertaining to the empowerment and advancement of women in the corporate world. She is a member of the Financial Women's Association of Singapore and enjoys being involved in charity work for various organisations. She is fluent in English and Turkish.
