Laura is an experienced facilitator with a background in learning and development including adult education. Her experience includes 15+ years of practical facilitation and corporate training and design, working with all levels of the organization. 

Prior to becoming a full-time consultant, Laura held various roles in Learning and Development for the following organizations:  Warner Lambert, Pfizer Consumer Healthcare, Johnson and Johnson, Knowledge Alliance and Ricoh Canada.

She has also spent many years in Sales Force Automation as a business lead collaborating with Sales and IT developing, designing and training corporate software programs that support and track strategic direction, customer relationships and business priorities.

Laura brings strength in areas of Strategic and Creative Thinking, Instructional Techniques and Design, Training Needs Analysis as well as project and change management.  Her specialty is Leadership Development and has spent the last 10 years working to bring Management training to various organizations most recently ServiceOntario and Rogers Communications.  She was instrumental in the development of their award winning (CSTD Gold Winner) Management program.

Laura earned her Bachelor’s Degree (Honors) in Physics and Biology from the University of Toronto as well as her Adult Learning Certificate from Durham College.  She lives in Courtice, Ontario with her husband and two daughters. In her spare time, she loves to travel, read and hit the open road on her red Ducati motorcycle.

Mary Lou holds a degree in English, as well as qualifications in adult education.  She has numerous accreditations including master trainer and international product development leader for Think on Your Feet®, IOWEU's Better Buyer Relationships™ and Better Relationships - Stakeholders™ programs and PassionWorks!™.  Mary Lou has worked in the learning and development field as well as corporate management for over 20 years. Mary Lou is based in Toronto, and has worked with international clients in key sectors including financial, government, technology, retail and manufacturing.

Markus van Aardt is the owner of an independent consulting business focused on Adult Learning in the Sales context, Workshop design and Facilitation, as well as Pharmaceutical subject matter.

He has been involved in Pharmaceutical sales since the early 1990’s. During that period he has promoted over a dozen different Pharmaceutical brands, both in Canada and abroad. He took part in the launch of multiple novel and ground- breaking Pharmaceutical brands, holds multiple awards in sales achievement and worked as Territory Manager and Sales Training Specialist.

His expertise in the launch of new sales models and their integration with current brand strategies draws heavily on experience in cross functional consultation and the application of Adult Learning Principles. Additionally, he has thorough experience in the design of  curriculum for E-learning and blended learning

Dave arrived in Canada in 2006, having spent 11 years in Frankfurt, where he was a Director and one-third owner of Target, a corporate-communications training organization.  Prior to his time in Germany, Dave spent 13 years in financial services sales in London.

Dave has worked with Global organizations and their key employees, from many different industries.  Notable past clients include:

Patrick has over 10 years in the Car Rental Industry focusing on Sales, Marketing, and Training.

Patrick shares his passion for sales as a part-time professor for The School of Business at Algonquin College.

As an entrepreneur, he founded his own business called “Your Personal Chef” which provided an opportunity to interact with local organizations like The Ottawa Entrepreneurship Centre and The Ottawa Civic Heart Institute.

Keeping engaged with the sales community, Patrick remains an active executive board member with Sales Professionals of Ottawa.

His passion for food and theatre has cast him in many appearances as a “Studio Chef” on Roger’s Cable 22 Daytime.

Norman has been involved in training and coaching programs since the eighties. When a ski injury forced him to take a break from his engineering career, he chose to study and become a certified driver education instructor, where he provided classroom instruction as well as one on one coaching on a part time basis even after returning to his engineering work.

While engaged in multi-million dollar consulting engineering construction projects in western Canada, it was in the area of project management and dealing with people that he found his greatest area of satisfaction. This led Norman to a career transition into technical sales after relocating to Ottawa. 

As Sales and Marketing manager for both multinational and medium-sized contracting companies, he experienced challenges such as serving a North American territory, long sales cycle high value projects, developing sales teams and long hours of work.  With almost 20 years of sales and sales management experience, he has acquired an understanding of the commitment required to make things happen.

Committed to self development and training, he has completed training in Reading Dynamics, Mind Mapping, Human Relations and Public Speaking, Personality Insights modeling as well as numerous Sales and Management programs.  Norman obtained his Certified Sales Professional designation from the CPSA Sales Institute in 1999 and later completed the Sales Trainer program with Sales Force Training, Train the Trainer program with the Bob Pike Group and becoming an accredited IOWEU International facilitator.

It is with a passion for the sales profession that he has contributed of his time to such organizations as the Canadian Professional Sales Association and the United Professional Sales Association.  Having served on numerous committees and boards, the most notable being on the board of directors of the Canadian Professional Sales Association from 1999 to 2005 (a full term).  His most sincere desire for the area of sales is to contribute to the development of professionalism in the area of sales such that in time, sales could truly be recognized as a profession.

An enthusiastic and lively speaker, he presents ideas to make a difference to participants, ideas that can be put into practical applications quickly.  As a sales trainer and consultant, he is constantly looking at business ideas that will provide improvements in the way we do business and increase professionalism in our business relationships.  Making business relationships more personable and based on honesty and personal integrity is what drives him.
